Cool, an Amigo. I would love to have one in good shape.

Trail help Needed pretty bad Ok Peeps,
We need some help re claiming the north trail (Bobs Brutal) and re routing a couple of switchback turns on yellow. This is a priority to get the trail reopened.Yellow is currently closed
Most of this can be done with blowers, rakes and chain saws. The machine is only needed for berms and that can be done later.
We are willing to work any day this week after work to get this done. If anyone has any time please contact Bob and let him know
We want to add an 3/4 mile extension at the top of yellow around the field up there but we can do that later the main goal is to get the yellow loop reopened as it is not now.
Also there is another half mile or so west of Black and Blue that will be added to yellow as well.
When all is said and done we will have more trail, a better trail and a trail that is COMPLETELY on the property. When we built that north line we were told where the line was but it was incorrect.

Praying for understanding see MLT be as it needs to be

Thinking of canceling tomorrows ride @ 2 (7-23-17) due to excessive heat. Its supposed to be in the high 90's with a heat index of 105 , what say you? ... See MoreSee Less

I ride every day in GA in heat like that. Strap on the camelbacks and just take it easy!

Agreed. Ride early or not at all.

I would have rode early but had a breakfast had to sing at this morning so I went to Danville at 11:30 and it was really hot and I'm used to the heat I'm outside all the time. No air stirring at all.

I ran today in this heat and it just about killed me!!! I agree with Justin

Ride down the creek!!

Ride early or die😜😜😜

Not looking good we my loose some trails :(

Well its clear now :(

With a background in Forestry I can say that you came out lucky.. well yes it is an ugly clear-cut, at least they did not leave any of the slash behind. My guess is that it will probably be replanted probably with pine.

Sorry to hear you will be losing any of MLT.Almost happens to us at Anglers Ridge a few years back with development. Glad we did not loose any of the Wwitchback trail.

Pretty goodlooking clear cut. Cycle of life trees are a renewable resource It will be replanted and in about 20 or 30 years this will happen again. Ride on.

Ashton was showing me the pictures he took. It's heartbreaking.

Sorry Bob.

Dang thought you was in the clear

Progress sucks

***EVENT RUNS ALL MONTH***

July timed event is the yellow loop challenge. Ride the yellow from bridge to bridge to see who has the best times. There is a strata segment called "Yellow Loop Challenge CCW " (imagine that!) that will keep your best time so you can ride and re ride to improve. Should be fun so please join! After you do the challenge ride red yellow red to get about 10 miles in!
**Ride at your own risk and always wear PPE**
