Well the new MLT bike wash station got off to a good start today. With ALL the materials donated Andy Phillips got out his hammer saw and nails and went to work!
The bike wash platform is made out of pressure treated lumber and was designed with gaps to allow water and mud to pass through easily.
The base is 8’x8′ which leaves plenty of space to get the bikes clean. At this point it will be a 2 station wash which should be sufficient for our needs.
Brian MacArthur will be bringing out his trencher Thursday and we will get the water line burred so we can get this puppy flowing!
We haven’t decided on what device we”ll use to hold up the bikes at this point but as you can already guess it will be something spectacular!
