After lengthy discussions it has been decided to replace the ramp bridges on the yellow loop with our standard 4′ wide wood bridges for safety reasons. Several newbie and beginner mountain bikers have expressed concerns of feeling unsteady on a 24″ surface and we can appreciate that.
MLT was built on the premise that we keep the trails user friendly to ALL levels of riders.
We have received donations for he first bridge and the lumber has been purchased. We need about $200 for the second 16′ bridge and are asking for help. Please contact Bob Norris or Brian MacArthur or just drop a donation in the box. Remember, it costs money to keep the trails open so please help if you can.
