Trail Building 11/5/15

It was a super day today @ Mountain Laurel trails with some of the areas best trail builders doing their thing. It also brought together 2 of the best trailbuilders in the region for the first time in 10 years.

Berndie Lundsford and Jim Frith last worked together 10 years ago at Philpot trails in Henry County Virgina. Some real talent here!

With 5 trail workers, Matt Huckfeldt of Chain of Fools Bike shop in Martinsville, Berndie Lundsford, Daniel Sheets and Chase Davidson of our Sister trail Anglers Ridge in Danville and Bob Norris founder of Mountain Laurel Trails worked all day grinding out some great trail work. Our goal is to finish all the main trails by late fall bringing the total to about 10 miles. Photo Album HERE

We had a productive day out there today. Every one of us worked well with each other. I have a huge appreciation for all the work these pro’s did to build out Anglers Ridge. I’m also amazed and thankful for the immense amount of effort Bob has put in this track. All you guys are awesome and thanks for inviting me to.be a part of your team today.
